About Ebru Tuncel

Ebru Tuncel completed her trilingual legal studies at the European Law School in London, Berlin and Rome. After graduating, she undertook an internship at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment and commenced her doctoral research on an environmental law topic as part of the collaborative project ‘Competence Network: Challenges in Environmental Law’. During this time, she worked as a research assistant at a chair of European Union Law at Freie University Berlin. 

During her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal (KG Berlin), Ebru Tuncel held various positions including at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, a renowned international commercial law firm in Berlin, and at a comparative law research institute in Tokyo. In addition, she worked as a lecturer on an international master’s programme at Technical University Berlin Corporate.
