About Markus Tichy

Markus studied Political Science and Law at the University of Münster and the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. Additionally, he completed a three-year course of specialized foreign language training in Spanish law. He then worked as a legal research assistant at a leading German law firm specializing in public procurement law. 

As part of his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, Markus worked at a renowned law firm specialising in construction law in the field of public construction law, at a boutique law firm specializing in environmental and planning law, and at the Federal Ministry of Justice (Department for Public Procurement Law and Antitrust Law). 

Markus has been admitted to the bar since 2025. His practice focuses on advising national and international companies and public authorities on all aspects of public commercial law.
