Alexander studied law at the Universities of Passau and Cardiff/Wales and completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich with a trainee stage specializing in anti-trust law at an international commercial law firm in Frankfurt.
Alexander has been admitted to the bar since 2016 and, before joining avocado rechtsanwälte in 2025, worked for German and International commercial law firms in Frankfurt and Berlin in the areas of public procurement law and anti-trust law.
Alexander advises national and international clients in the areas of public procurement law, state aid law, anti-trust law, and foreign trade law.
A key focus of his work is advising both tenderers and contracting authorities on the structuring of complex procurement procedures, including advice in matters relating to anti-trust, and state aid law, and representation before review bodies.
Alexander also practices in the field of competition law, advising on merger control filings and foreign direct investment reviews, and represents clients in antitrust compliance proceedings and antitrust damages litigation.
